Speaker @ Adobe Usergoup Meeting Netherlands and CrazyCam V3.0 news

At 2M09 David and me were asked to give a session at the Adobe Usergroup Meeting Netherlands in Amsterdam on June 3rd. We will be giving a session about Flash Catalyst (and a little bit of Gumbo) where we will be showing some projects we did with catalyst and gumbo and talk about the experience we had with the products so far. At this session, we’ll also give a preview of CrazyCam V3.0 so if there are any fans of this little application, come check it out :)

So far the updates to CrazyCam include:
- improved user interface (which makes it usable on every resolution from 800×600 and up)
- improved performance
- with dualscreen set-ups, now dragable over both screens

What I still would like to fix is the detection of the webcam itself, like if you have a tv-tuner on your pc or mac, it can be that this will interfere with the detection of the webcam. I’m not sure how to solve this as you can not give the user the option to choose which one should be used in Air. So If you like this app, be sure to check this blog regularly because a new release will be coming up soon!
