Tnx :)
What do you mean by you’re always getting the bluetooth service video problem?
Could you send me an e-mail with some more explanation about this?
Maybe it’s the same problem like when you have a tv-tuner card in your pc/mac …
Flash also detects this as a webcam source and therefor the app won’t work.
Normally in flash or in a flex application you can configure this by rightclicking, but in air, this option is not available…
I’m looking for a solution for this one!

where do the photos go after taking them in crazycam 2.0
In CrazyCam 2.0 the pictures (and movies) can be found at the My Documents (windows) or Documents folder (mac) in a folder called “crazycam”.

I realised I’m unable to take a screenshot for the app. Anyway what happens when I open crazycam is that the application launches but I only see a black area (where my image is supposed to appear). at the top corner of the black area it says “ing for connection…” (which i presumes it’s ‘waiting for connection…”)
I am able to select the different show effects but the application does not discover my webcam. I’m using a Sony Vaio Z series which comes with inbuilt motion eye and have no trouble with Skype/WLM, etc when using the webcam. Apparently from other flash enabled webcam capture sites that I’ve accessed, the default webcam is known is Bluetooth Video. Hope that helps. I’ve tried to google but to no avail.
Thank you so much.

Looks fantastic – just stumbled on it recently.
Suggestion – option to turn on a three second timer, and you have yourself the only ‘photobooth’ type for PC of its kind.

hi maarten
first i’d like to congratulate you on an amazing app, thanks man :)
i do however have some issues. i’m running this on my netbook which has a resolution of 1024×576 and the minimum for Crazycam is 800×600, leaving me with a cut off window missing the picture, video & gallery buttons.
i tried using Manycam(a virtual webcam) to change the resolution of my existing webcam to a smaller one, unfortunately when i ran Crazycam it crashed instantly.
it’s really a drag to have to change my resolution everytime i want to use this app.
i used to use cyberlink youcam but it also has a minimum resolution of 800×600, it’s a downer to have a laptop with a webcam but no applications compatible with it.
is there anyway that i can get full functionality with my current resolution settings?
Hi :)
And thanks :)
CrazyCam 3.0 is made with netbook-users in mind, so I changed the design to be able to fit it on smaller resolutions.
The resolution of V3.0 is 640 * 560 so it will fit nicely on your screen too :)
I will try to release it soon, so keep on checking in ;)
