I know, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted something here but it was either because I was really busy or because I was too tired to write stuff for my blog after being too busy :) So what have I’ve been up to lately? First off all, after the 2M09 workshop me and a collegue were asked to give a session on Flash Catalyst (it rockz) and Flash Builder 4 / Flex 4 SDK user experience for the AUG NL in Amsterdam last week, which was really great! It was the first time I had to speak for a rather large audience so I was quite nervous but all went fine (I think). We presented two new apps we made with Catalyst and flex 4: Youtube Desktop Player and a beta version of CrazyCam 3.0. Both will be available soon for download after we cleaned them up a bit and when we get rid of some beta bugs from the flex 4 sdk. So what I’m doing now is trying to refine those apps to make them available for the public.
I’m also working on something completely new to me: Augemented Reality and Papervision 3D which is a really fun thing to work with.

One of the first test cases I made can be found here. You will also need this pattern. If you don’t have a webcam or printer (or you’re just too damn lazy to try it out for yourself) then you can view the result here. I know, it’s a really simple example and it’s not very original, but I’m working on some stuff and I hope I will be able to show you something neater in the next week(s).
