What am I up to?

14 September 2009 391 views No Comment

I know, I know, it’s been more then a month since I’ve posted something here. Shame on me ^^
From now on, I promise I will do at least on blog post a week, maybe two if I have enough content. The plan is to put more technical content and tutorials on this blog so I will start adding them from now on.

So what will I be doing in the near future?

Well, first off I will (hopefully) get my Flex Certified Instructor certificate this month, that is if I pass the stand-up sessions but I don’t really foresee a problem there.

At the end of the month I will be taking a User Centered Design Masterclass from our friends at Namahn because that’s the stuff I’m really interested in. I will do a post about this later.

After these classes, I will get on the plane and fly to LOS ANGELES! (Yeah baby ^^) I got the chance to be a Teaching Assistant at Adobe Max LA and my company was kind enough to let me go so I’m really looking forward to this! If you’re also attending Max or if you’re in one of the workshops (BYOL sessions) I’ll be TA-ing in, give me a shout !

The workshops I’m assigned to as a Teaching Assistant are:

Preconference BYOL: Adobe AIR: Building Desktop Applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
October 4 at 09:00AM (480 minutes) Room: Preconference 502B
Steve Drucker

BYOL: Learning ActionScript 3.0
October 5 at 11:30AM (90 minutes) Room: 518
Lou Barber

BYOL: Data-Centric Development with Flash Buider 4
October 5 at 05:00PM (90 minutes) Room: 518
Enrique Duvos

BYOL: New Flash Builder 4 WSDL and HTTP Connectors
October 6 at 03:30PM (90 minutes) Room: 518
Rich Tretola

BYOL: Easy and Early Success with Flash CS4
October 7 at 04:00PM (90 minutes) Room: 408A
Paul Trani

So that’s all for now, I’ve been working on some small projects too but maybe more news about them later.
